Thanks much for the quick response. Both times I tried the recipe the brownies tasted great. They were just flat is all. 
I&#039;ve tried it again today and I doubled the recipe. Much happier with the result. Also used whole wheat flour in place of white w.w. Flour as that&#039;s all we get where I live.

I updated the recipe - you add the sugar/eggs after removing from the heat.


I&#039;m not sure why it would have trouble filling up the pan; the batter doesn&#039;t fill the pan really high, but it should easily spread through the pan.  You could always double the recipe if you think they aren&#039;t thick enough for you.  When you made them, did they still taste alright?  Hard to say what happened since I wasn&#039;t in the kitchen with you, but I hope you&#039;ll try again!]]></description>

I&#039;ve made this recipe twice now and I find that the quantity of batter it yields fills an 8X8 pan very scantily. It&#039;s a very flat brownie. Not at all as chunky as yours looks. 
What could I be doing wrong
Also, 
I&#039;m a little unclear if I need to add the eggs, and sugar while pan is still on the stove top, and subsequently add the flour when the pan is still on the stove top. 
It&#039;s a really delicious recipe and I would really appreciate a revert so I can get it right.
